Chehalis Friendship Fence

After the destruction of the original Lewis County Welcomes Everyone sign, a current LCDG board member took it upon themselves to paint their fence in bright rainbow colors as a visible show of community support. During a later group discussion about the project, the idea was hatched to add a participatory aspect and allow community members the chance to add their names to the wall. Metal tags were ordered along with a stamping kit, and a form was set up for community members to submit their info. We hope to one day see the friendship fence covered in metal hearts of solidarity from friends of the community! 

As of December 2022 there are currently over 350 tags with messages of love and support on the Chehalis Friendship Fence. Submit your own message at no cost here.
