Rural Americans Against Racism
Rural Americans Against Racism was born during the Black Lives Matter protests of 2020.Â
Â
A local community member began attending events with that phrase - Rural American Against Racism - on their sign. The message resonated with people. After conversations regarding the power of those 4 words, bumper stickers were made. When those were distributed quickly, a batch of yard signs was purchased next. The movement grew from there.

The mission is simple: bring visibility to rural Americans that stand against racism. Find, distribute media and encourage dialogue with those willing to take a public stand and engage their neighbors on a local level in having direct conversations about race. LCDG continues to offer free RAAR stickers shipped nationwide and free yard signs at events locally. As of December 2022, over 2100 RAAR stickers have been sent to 24 states. You can request your own RAAR stickers here.
